Sculpted Structure

Project 1: This gown is an interpretation of the illusion of fluidity created by the marble drapery of statues. By draping organza, stiffening it while folded, and hand sewing those drapes to the base dress, the strips of organza appear fluid, but are molded in place.

Project 2: This bustier is adorned with carefully placed, hand sewn silk bias strips, attached one by one. The bias strips create layers and texture from every angle, complimented by a geometric neckline.
