Yes! Every single IRY Designs piece is handmade by the designer, Isabel Yagerman. Every piece is high quality, made with lots of love and care, which is why the price is higher than what you’d usually see in stores selling clothes that are mass-produced. IRY Designs is slow fashion!
IRY Designs are each one-of-a-kind, as they’re made to order by hand! The customer chooses every element of the corset, down to the smallest details, which is a special and personal experience that ends in complete customer satisfaction.
Of course you can! The entire goal is for you, the customer, to design the exact top that you want that you won’t be able to find anywhere else. Every detail is up to you, from the fabrics used to the trim to the grommets. Even the smallest details count!
The designer, Isabel, shops for every single element of the tops herself, mostly from specialty stores in the Garment District of New York City. If you don’t see a fabric color or print that you want, Isabel will find it for you if you let her know specifically what you’re looking for in the “Other” section of the fabric choices in the custom order form!
Measure around the largest area of your chest or bust and around your natural waist. There is a diagram in the custom order form to help you figure out where to measure yourself. (Tip: Use a soft, flexible measuring tape to most accurately measure around your body. If you’re having trouble, grab a friend to help you!) If you’re still not sure, you can also check a standard size guide’s measurements from a clothing brand you buy from and check the listed chest and waist measurements under the size you usually buy. (ex: size small, chest: 34”, waist: 26-27”)
Once you’ve placed your order and Isabel has confirmed it, please allow 2 to 3 weeks for it to be made and up to another 1 to 2 weeks for it to get to you in the mail after it’s been dropped off at the post office. Isabel will always provide customers with confirmation that the package has been dropped off and the tracking number. If you’ve asked Isabel to find specific fabrics or materials for you that aren’t listed on the order form, please allow extra time for those materials to be sourced.

Currently, sizes extra small, small, and medium are available, but every top is made to the customer’s measurements. In addition, IRY Designs corset tops have lace-up backs, which means that they’re adjustable and can be tightened or loosened to your liking. A range of larger sizes is currently in development as well, so stay tuned! IRY Designs wants to be able to cater to all body types.
At the moment, IRY Designs corsets are the only custom pieces being made. However, stay tuned for accessories, pre-made inventory pieces in set colors and sizes, and new styles that are being developed!
Since the tops are delicate and handmade, they should be treated with care, so please only dry clean. Do not put your top in the washing machine or dryer, as they aren’t gentle enough to clean it without possibly causing damage. Do not hand wash your top if it is 100% silk, as water will stain it! Also, be careful to avoid getting the grommets wet if you choose to hand wash your top, as the metal finish may start to corrode.
